A small sample
Everybody knows that looking directly at the sun can burn your eyes. The suns reflection in a mirror will to. Every School Bus, Big Rig, and RV has rear and side view mirrors, their only way to see what is behind and beside them.
At sunrise and sunset those mirrors reflect the sun directly into the eyes of the driver, causing partial blindness.
Would you want your children riding on a school bus that the driver could be temporarily blinded by the sun? Wouldn't anyone, including legislators, who knew that there was an inexpensive product that could save lives, decrease accidents, and increase the safety of school buses and big trucks, not rally for legislation to mandate its use? And when mandated, this is the patent for the production and sale of that product.
Similarly to the new postal non-lick "sticky stamps", "The Vizor" tm is a thin flexible sheet of highly polarized film, set on the coated side of 4"x8" sheet of card stock, (thickness and texture similar to a playing card ) with labeling and instructions printed on the other side, and a punched hole for hanging on a rack.
To use, simply cut it to the size of the mirror, peal it off the paper, and place it on the upper portion of your mirror. It electrostaticly adheres to the mirror, for removal and replacement without any residue.
Ready for the VValmart rack, next to the automotive mirrors, each 4"X8" sheet costing about 16 cents, should retail for 50 cents to a dollar. Plenty of room for profit, with minimal product liability.
On newer busses and mail trucks you can see flat-top wideview mirrors that eliminate the area for sunlight reflection, but they are not heated, so they are only safe for seeing around the front.
There are a few other patented for products that block sun glare from the mirrors, one clips on the window, one is a plastic shield mounted on an arm attached to the mirror bracket, to flip down for protection, both cumbersome, and I have never actually seen them on the market.
Every round mirror you see on a semi, bus, or RV, (some have 6 or 8) could be a 50 cent profit per, to you.
